Federation of European Mineral Programs : ウィキペディア英語版
Federation of European Mineral Programs
Federation of European Mineral Programs (FEMP) is a (legal) organisation founded by Hans de Ruiter in which 25 leading
multinational companies participate together with seven leading European Universities. These offer the
joint European Mining, Minerals and Environmental Program (EMMEP) which is an integrated program with three
specialisations. The Federation is the co-ordinating body for matters regarding education and research covering all aspects of Mineral Engineering in a large part of Europe.
The three specialisations are:
:- Mining Engineering (European Mining Course (EMC))
:- Mineral Engineering (European Mineral Engineering Course (EMEC))
:- Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering (European Geotechnical and Environmental Course (EGEC))

The participating universities are: Aachen (RWTH), Delft (TU Delft), University of Exeter (Camborne School of Mines), Helsinki (Aalto University), (Miskolc ) (TU
Miskolc) and Wrocław (Wrocław University of Technology).
The programs are developed for the students of the six universities, however a limited number of outside students participate as well. As a result, between 50 and 60 students join the FEMP program annually.Since the start in 1996 over 600 students participated in the programs.
One of the objectives of FEMP is to assist students financially with the extra cost, when being abroad. In order to be able to subsidise the students for these extra costs FEMP receives annual contributions from its members. The industry is also represented in FEMP via Euromines. Further information can be found at the website of FEMP ()
